Course Details
This programme will provide candidate with an appreciation of the theoretical framework and practical knowledge of various current issues and concept of Travel, Tourism and Hospitality required to get a job and work effectively in a contemporary modern Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Environment.
All qualifications are equivalent to degree in most universities and can be used to gain access and exemptions to specialised professional qualifications, such as Accounting, Marketing, Personnel development, Information systems etc.
Certificate Level
This level is for candidates without 2 ‘A’ levels or higher qualification but are 18 years+ and have passed the entrance test.
It is designed to provide the candidate with good understanding of the nature and purpose of business activity including various stake holders as well as various functional operation of the business and how they can be interdependent with each other.
Candidate will also develop a good understanding of the environment within which the business operates and all types of support available to assist the business operation.
Candidate can progress to the Diploma stage after passing the internal and external examinations.
Diploma Level
To be admitted at this level, candidates must have 2 ‘A’ Level or higher qualifications and have also passed the entrance test.
This level will provide opportunity for candidates to identify why various African businesses cannot compete with the rest of the World.
It will expose candidates to various leadership theories and practical as well as why some leaders were efficient and effective and why some leaders became a failure in achieving their team objectives.
Additionally, this course will prepare candidates for the knowledge of how to study in UK successfully and identify research opportunity as well as planning with economic theory, practical and management in Action in their specialist subjects.
Candidate must pass the external examination in order to be considered for further studies at a recognised UK higher institution where they will complete the programme at Advanced Diploma Level in order to graduate in the UK.

Monday - Saturday (attendance depends on course timetable)
Durations
Duration is one year (first, second and third semesters)
Assessment
You will be assessed through a combination of skills tests and examinations.
UK External examination will be taking place in June and December.
